Nursery care is provided for infants and an activity time for preschoolers is provided during the worship service.
Following the children's story, children in Grades K-4 are welcome to join Children's Church in the Potter's Mansion. We are excited to begin a new video series during Children’s Church called “What’s in The Bible?” The series will introduce children to the sequence of major Bible stories from Genesis to Revelation and will be taught by veteran youth leader, Tara Wise. Children grades 5-12 are invited to stay in the sanctuary during worship service.
The Potter's Mansion is a Rotational Workshop model for helping our children experience and grow in faith through hands-on workshops.
Our mansion houses ten kid-friendly themed learning environments, a stylish youth lounge, cinema, and a spacious nursery.
Each Sunday, children visit a different workshop where learning is engaging, exciting, and hands-on. We emphasize active learning of the Bible and
its lessons for life and take advantage of each student's God-given thirst for learning in multiple ways such as art, media, science, music, and drama. Classes are held after fellowship time following the morning worship
service between 11:30 AM and 12:15 PM from September through mid-June. Children in grades K-4 are invited to join in the Rotation Sunday School. Teachers of this program include first timers Pam Clarke, Beth Clarke, Heather Davis, and Dick and Janice Clark. Returning to the Rotation Sunday School is Marilyn Gustafson.
Students in 5th-8th grade are welcome to join for Youth Group from 11:30-12:15 where a new, conversationally-based curriculum will challenge children to understand Christian doctrine more deeply and follow Christ through the emerging choices of adolescence. Alyssa Dodds will be joining the teaching team this year – and John and Christine Overton and Andrea St. Jean will be returning to teaching, this time with the older youth.
Adult Classes meet for Bible Study and/or with topical curriculum at 11:30 AM on Sunday morning.
